We are thrilled to bring back the Young Entrepreneurs program again this year! This is a great way to celebrate and encourage the entrepreneurship of the many talented homeschooled students in our state. Homeschooled students age 12-23 who have an entrepreneurial spirit and a quality product or service to sell are invited to apply.
Convention attendees are encouraged to visit the Young Entrepreneurs booths in the exhibit hall at the 32nd Annual Arizona Home Education Convention and check out the products and services these talented young people have to offer!
2015 YOUNG ENTREPRENEURS
Students who are currently being taught at home by their parents in accordance with Arizona Revised Statutes §15-802* are invited to participate in the AFHE Young Entrepreneurs program. Students must be a minimum age of 12 by July 10, 2015. Homeschool graduates who are age 23 or younger are also invited participate.
*ARS §15-802 defines a homeschool as "a nonpublic school conducted primarily by the parent, guardian, or other person who has custody of the child or nonpublic instruction provided in the child's home." Students enrolled in a public school, private school, charter school, or virtual charter school, or who have an Empowerment Scholarship Account (ESA) contract with the state are ineligible to participate as young entrepreneurs.
APPLICATION DEADLINE: MARCH 27, 2015
Interested Young Entrepreneurs should complete the online application and send one or two digital photos of your products by email to email@example.com. If you have a brochure or other forms for your business, please send a copy by email or postal mail for our review. We will review applications, product photos, and brochures to determine participation. Once approved, you will be provided with payment instructions. Your payment reserves your spot in the exhibit hall as a Young Entrepreneur. Payment can be made by check through the postal mail or by credit card through an online payment link.
Space is limited. We encourage you to register early.
PAYMENT DEADLINE: APRIL 17, 2015
Additional applications may be accepted after the submission deadline if space is still available, however only those applications that have been approved and payment received by April 17 will be included in the Convention Program.

CITY OF PHOENIX SALES TAX LICENSE APPLICATION
Please note, AFHE just learned (March 2015) that the City of Phoenix is no longer offering a temporary sales tax license they previously offered for $25. All exhibitors who will be selling product or services at the AFHE Convention must file the regular Transaction Privilege (Sales) and Use Tax License application and pay the $50 fee to the City of Phoenix.
