Each summer, AFHE sponsors a home education convention and curriculum fair in Downtown Phoenix.

Highlights of the convention include:

• INSPIRATION & ENCOURAGEMENT
• SPEAKERS ... A variety of speakers and workshops for veteran homeschoolers and parents new to homeschooling alike.
• EXHIBIT HALL ... Come browse and shop the vast array of curricula and resource vendors.  
• EXHIBITOR WORKSHOPS ... Workshops taught by exhibitors with information about their products or services.
• MENTORING MOMS BOOTH ... Experienced homeschooling moms available to answer question throughout the weekend.
• FRIENDS ... See old friends and make new ones.
• GOODY BAGS ... Filled with brochures, catalogs, and pamphlets from a wide variety of companies and services for homeschoolers.
• FREE GIFT CD ... Convention attendees receive a gift CD filled with over $250 worth of free curriculum and coupons. One per family.
• HANDOUTS AVAILABLE ONLINE ... Download handouts for the workshops you plan to attend from the AFHE website after July 5.
• YOUNG ENTREPRENEURS ... Homeschooled students and graduates ages 10-24 share their talents and creations in the exhibit hall. (See application for details.)
• FREE PRE-CONVENTION MINI-CONFERENCE ... Those considering homeschooling are invited to this free mini-conference Thursday afternoon.
