GENERAL SCHEDULE
REGISTRATION: Opens
at 8:00 AM each day
KEYNOTE ADDRESS: 9:00-10:30
AM each day
EXHIBIT HALL: Open 10:00 AM - 7:00
PM both days
Jr High Graduate Recognition Ceremony -
Friday, 7:30-9:00 PM, in the Ballroom on the 3rd floor.
Special video viewing - Join us in the
ballroom (3rd floor) during the lunch hour (12:00 PM) for a special
viewing of the compelling new video Exposing a Trojan Horse.
Exposing a Trojan Horse interviews leaders of Christian state homeschool
organizations, researchers, and parents to uncover the hidden costs
of parents participating in government-funded programs for home educators.
This powerful DVD exposes the dangers of government-funded programs
such as virtual schools. A number of copies of this DVD will be available
for purchase at the registration counter for $10 each.

REGISTRATION
Early registrations must be postmarked no
later than June 18. After June 18th, registrations will
only be accepted at the door for full price regardless of membership
status.
NOTE: Due to an unfortunate set
of circumstances, this year's convention brochure, which was mailed
out in April, experienced problems in the mailing process which caused
the registration form to separate from the rest of the brochure for
a number of people.

TEEN TRACK
The 2008 Teen Track will take place both Friday and Saturday
and will feature Dean
Ornter, Wonders of Science.
CHILDREN
Childcare will not be available at the convention. We
love children and want to include them whenever possible. However,
this conference is geared toward parent/teacher enrichment and learning. Start
early to make arrangements for childcare. Children and teens
will be charged an admission fee of $10 each. There is no
admission fee for infants. A mother's room is available for
nursing, feeding, and changing.
NOTE: Children
under age 12 must remain with an adult at all times. Children
under age 12 are welcome to attend the Teen Track if they are accompanied
by an adult. The Phoenix Convention Center
is a public facility and the homeschool conference is an event open
to the public. AFHE does not have procedures or staff to oversee the
care of unattended children.

WORKSHOP RECORDINGS
Recordings of speaker workshops may be purchased at the
convention - go to the Resounding Voice booth in the
exhibit hall to purchase CDs or MP3s (booth #110).
Recordings may also be purchased following the convention
through the Resounding Voice web site www.resoundingvoice.com
Please note workshops by Marilyn Rockett
and Shelley Noonan are only available for purchase
at the convention and will not be available for purchase through the
Resounding Voice web site. In addition, workshops by Scott and
Marcia Somerville will not be available for purchase either
at the convention or afterwards.

PARKING
Parking is plentiful near the Phoenix Convention Center. Most
parking will cost approximately $5 to $10 per day.
HOTEL ACCOMMODATIONS
Discount rates are available at the Hyatt Regency Phoenix which is
located across the street from the Phoenix Convention Center. To receive
the group rate, mention Arizona Families for Home Education (AFHE). Reservations
must be made no later than June 26th and rooms are limited. $89 single/double
occupancy. Parking not included.

FOOD
A concession stand will be open for your convenience during convention
hours. Fast food and restaurants are located within walking
distance of the convention center. Food obtained outside
the Phoenix Convention Center may not be brought in.
