CONVENTION 2008 - DEAN ORTNER

TWO DAY TEEN TRACK FEATURING DEAN ORTNER!

This year, by popular demand, the teen track will run a full two days!  Wonders of Science's Dean Ortner will share with the teens from his 35 year sof experience as a science lecturer presenting truths about the Creator through His handiwork.

AFHE is very excited to be offering this unique and engaging program. Although targeted towards teens, this program is also a perfect place to invite friends, relatives,a nd grandparents who are not families with homeschooling. We have reserved a large room for this program so there will be room for all!

Dean is an accomplished and recognized scientist. He has studied aeronautical/electrical engineering, medicine, bio-nucleonics, and six different languages. He built an analog computer as a 9-year-old, a plan as a teenager, and started his university training at 15! Today he is an internationally known speaker presenting at World Fairs, Olympic games, military academies, and churches around the country.

Sometimes referred to as the "Million Volt Man" because of his daring demonstrations on the properties of electricity, Dean's presentations are known for his characterisitic method of mixing mind-boggling science demonstrations with his down-to-earth presentation of scientific principles to show the existence of an intelligent Creator and the claim He has on individual lives.

As a final note, please remember that this program is intended for teens and adults. Children under the age of 12 are more than welcome to attend, but they must be accompanied by an adult. The Phoenix Convention Center is a public facility and the homeschool conference is an event open to the public. AFHE does not have procedures or staff to oversee the care of unattended children attending the program.

NOTE: All attendees of the teen program must be registered for the homeschool convention.
