The Poems:   Page 1   Page 2   Page 3   Page 4

Twenty-nine poems were submitted by homeschooled students ages 5-18 from around the state of Arizona.   We are proud of the hard work and participation by every student who wrote for the AFHE Poetry Contest. There were a variety of poetry forms used and the students did a very good job illustrating the theme of freedom through poetry.

All of the participants who were present at Homeschool Day at the Capitol on Tuesday, March 2, were acknowledged and applauded by the crowd.   The Poetry Contest winners were invited to read their poems aloud at this event as well.
