AFHE hosts an annual Leadership Conference for Arizona homeschool support group leaders. This is an all-day Saturday event held usually at the end of January.

In 2007 we were inspired to expand and create an opportunity for homeschooling parents to also get to enjoy the speaker we brought in to encourage support group leaders at the Leadership Conference. This was the beginning of the AFHE Midyear Refresher, which has normally been held during the day on Friday, the day before the Leadership Conference.

In 2013 AFHE is celebrating 30 years of service to Arizona's homeschool community. In lieu of hosting our annual Leadership Conference and Midyear Refresher, we will be traveling to various parts of the state to host dessert socials. We look forward to the opportunity to fellowship with homeschool families around the state.
