AFHE Thank You Picnic - Yuma County - Yuma

EVENT REVIEW: Over 60 people joined AFHE board members James & Nancy Manos and Jon & Roxanne Callahan (with their children Rachel and Sean Callahan) at West Wetlands Park in Yuma. It was a beautiful spring day and a very enjoyable picnic! We appreciated the opportunity to get to fellowship with Yuma area homeschoolers!

Homeschooling families in Yuma and surrounding areas are invited to join us for a "Thank You" Picnic hosted by AFHE.

In celebration of AFHE's 25th anniversary, members of the AFHE board are enjoying traveling to different counties to visit with homeschooling families around Arizona over a 12-18 month period.   We are here to serve and encourage you as you teach your children at home. One of the primary ways we serve Arizona homeschoolers is to watch legislation that might affect our rights to teach our children at home.  AFHE supports and promotes parent-led, family-funded, relationship-based education of children by their parents at home.

Homeschooling moms, dads, and kids are invited to join us for lunch (sub sandwiches, chips, fresh veggies, dessert, water, and pop), fellowship with other homeschoolers, and door prize drawings too!

This is an informal family event, and a great opportunity to visit with other homeschooling families, too.
