2009 SENIOR HIGH GRADUATION CEREMONY

TICKET INFORMATION FOR ATTENDEES

It is a new policy of the Convention Center to have every seat available represented by one (and only one) ticket in order to keep from overfilling the ballroom. This has been a problem with some of the other graduations that they have hosted (not ours) and is their solution to staying within their fire codes.

Tickets will be distributed as follows:

We will be using the extreme south entrance into the Convention Center on 3rd Street, just north of Jefferson.

Upon arrival to the ceremony, all attendees must first stop by the “Ticket” table, to receive a ticket. Each attendee will then take his/her ticket to the security guards at the doors to be admitted to the graduation ceremony.

We only have one ticket available per seat. In order to make sure that none are wasted we have set up the following guidelines:

  • Each person will receive only one ticket. We will not be handing out groups of tickets to be spread among family members or friends. Each person must get his own ticket.
  • If you have family members or members of your party that are arriving later, they will still have to stop by the ticket table to pick up their ticket. (We have plenty of seats – just no extra tickets.)
  • Tickets will be available at 5:50. (The doors to the ballroom open at 6:00). Please do not ask for your ticket prior to that time!

The Graduation Committee would like to extend our sincere appreciation for your patience with new policies. Our desire is to make this a memorable and enjoyable evening for our graduates and their families as well as all other attendees. We understand that this is not the most convenient policy, but we are doing our best to make it work well for everyone.
