Homeschoolers Do Well at State Word Power Challenge

March 2006

On Monday, March 20th home schoolers Rebecca Tappendorf, Jonathan Woodbury and Jacob Lowery competed among the top 100 6th-8th graders in the state championship round of the National Word Power Competition. Each of the three competed well, representing home schoolers in a positive way. Jacob Lowery tied for second place in the competition and all came away having increased their vocabularies!
