Homeschooler Madeline Peltzer Wins First Prize In Tempe Essay Contest
Madeline Peltzer, age 10, daughter of Kurt and Dawn Peltzer of Laveen, recently won a first prize for the Tempe Republican Women's second annual essay contest entitled, "What is the Responsibility of the United States Citizen in the Upcoming Presidential Election?" Madeline also had the opportunity to read her piece to the members during the awards ceremony.
