AFHE serves thousands of families statewide and we have a number of opportunities for homeschool-related businesses, curriculum providers, universities, and Arizona venues to connect with the Arizona homeschool community. These opportunities include print advertising in our magazine and convention program, enewsletter banner ads, eblast advertising, and sponsorships at our annual convention and other AFHE-hosted events including our annual Senior High Graduation Ceremony.
Our annual home education convention is the largest gathering of homeschoolers in the state with a total attendance of nearly 4,000 and is another excellent avenue for promoting your business. 2020 Convention advertising and sponsorship opportunities will be posted here once the information becomes available.

AFHE ADVERTISING MEDIA KIT
Reach the Arizona homeschool community and promote your homeschool-related resource, curriculum, product, or service by advertising with AFHE. Numerous digital and print advertising opportunities are available.
AFHE’s magazine, Homeschool Arizona, is published 3 times per year and is packed with articles and information to encourage and equip you. The print edition is mailed to member families statewide. A digital copy is available on the website within a few weeks of the print copy being mailed out.

With more than 5,000 total in attendance, the AFHE Convention is a great place to share information about your business, product, or service with the Arizona homeschool community
EXHIBITOR BOOTH SPACE
Businesses that sell products or services designed to meet the needs of homeschooling families are invited to apply for exhibit space during AFHE’s Annual Arizona Home Education Convention. The AFHE Convention is an event that focuses on encouraging, equipping, and inspiring parents as they endeavor to teach their children themselves at home. Convention exhibitors and convention program advertisers who support AFHE’s philosophy and purpose of promoting and supporting parent-led, family-funded, relationship-based home education and do not conflict with a biblical worldview are invited to apply.

Applying for booth space at the AFHE Convention is a two-step process. First, interested vendors complete our online Exhibitor Application. The AFHE Convention Exhibit Hall team will review each application and contact the applicant to let them know if they’ve been accepted. Second, once approved, payment instructions will be provided. Your payment reserves your booth space at the AFHE Convention. Payment may be made by check or credit card.
Participation in this event is by invitation only. AFHE reserves the right to refuse any application without further explanation.
CONVENTION PROGRAM ADVERTISING
The AFHE Convention Program is a full-color, quality print magazine, which includes a notetaking insert in the center. The program is distributed to thousands of convention attendees, speakers, exhibitors, volunteers, and guests.
2017 registered exhibitors at the AFHE Convention receive a 20% discount on convention program advertising.
1,800 welcome bags will be handed out to families attending the AFHE Convention when they check in. Welcome bags are filled with advertisements and promotional items from curriculum providers and other advertisers.
Any single insert is just 6 cents per bag (brochure, postcard, flier, DVD, or magazine/catalog that is 8 pages or less). Magazines or catalogs that are more than 8 pages are just 15 cents per bag.
Exhibitors and non-exhibitors are invited to apply. A sample of the item(s) you wish to have included in the welcome bags must be submitted for approval at the time of your application.
2017 registered exhibitors at the AFHE Convention receive a discount on welcome bag inserts. You will have the option to add a welcome bag insert (or two) to your exhibitor application.

CONVENTION SPECIALS EBLAST ADS
Registered 2017 Exhibitors, are you offering a convention special at your booth during the AFHE Convention this year? This special promotion might be just right for you!
The AFHE Convention team is always looking for creative ways to promote our exhibitors and we are pleased to offer this unique opportunity to help draw traffic to your booth. These eblasts will go out to more than 4,000 people including those who are already registered for this year’s AFHE Convention, plus those on our general email list to inspire them to come and enjoy the convention either as a registered attendee or with an exhibit hall only pass on Saturday.
This advertising opportunity is only open to exhibitors approved for booth space at the 2017 AFHE Convention.

- Our desire with the Convention Specials eblast is to draw more shoppers to your booth without creating extra steps for attendees (like having to print out a coupon) to get the deal/discount.
- Promotions must be something more than just free shipping.
- The promotion you offer in this ad should be offered to all convention attendees who stop by your booth.
- The deal/discount must take place on-site during the convention at your booth. Do not submit an ad for pre-convention or post-convention special on your website for this eblast promotion.
- We encourage you to provide some kind of signage in your booth highlighting your convention special as you normally would.
- AFHE reserves the right to edit ad content for length, grammar, and spelling. Our goal is always to do our editing invisibly so as not to change the message, but rather to polish if needed or to shorten if too long. If substantive changes need to be made, we will contact you prior to publishing to review the changes with you.
- No multi-level marketing/distributorship promotions may be included.

AFHE developed the Buy It Here! promotion in 2014 as a way to encourage convention attendees to purchase on-site from our exhibitors. Our desire is to encourage the return of quality exhibitors, especially those selling homeschool curriculum and resources, in order to help families succeed in the home education journey. We want our exhibitors to have an excellent experience and we are always looking for creative ways to inspire our audience to buy on-site and support the hard-working vendors who sacrifice much to participate in homeschool conventions like ours across the country.
The presence of quality curriculum and resource providers at the AFHE Convention is a huge blessing. This one-of-a-kind shopping experience for families in Arizona allows them to see in-person a variety of products, resources, and curriculum, letting them compare, ask questions, and shop at the event.
The Buy It Here! promotion at the AFHE Convention is set up in a way that it does not cost our exhibitors anything and it doesn’t create any additional work for vendors. AFHE covers the expense of the tickets, the volunteers to run the promotion, and the five $100 cash prizes we give out during our big prize drawing Saturday evening. All you need to do is provide customers during the convention with a receipt, either print or electronic, that includes your company name, the date, and the amount paid by the attendee. We do the rest!

Saturday evening we will hold our annual prize drawing in the ballroom. We invite exhibitors to consider donating one or more items or a gift certificate to shop on your website.
