Arizona homeschool parents and teens, come on down to the Phoenix Convention Center the day before the AFHE Convention for this outstanding opportunity to talk with representatives from a variety of schools. Open to the public. Invite your friends!

NOTE: The College Admissions Seminar from 1:30-2:30 PM is also free of charge, but seating is limited. A recording of the seminar will be available for purchase from Resounding Voice for those who are interested.

The College Admissions Process: The Homeschool Student’s Guide

You’re not just your teen’s teacher; you’re also his guidance counselor! Find out how to maneuver through the entire college admissions process—from narrowing down the selection of colleges to filling out college applications, applying for financial aid, and asking the right questions that will help you discern whether your teen is spiritually, academically, and emotionally prepared for college.

DIANE KUMMER is the Consultant Program Administrator with Home School Legal Defense Association, and in 2005 helped to develop its Homeschooling through High School program. She regularly speaks nationwide on high school topics, and her articles appear in the HSLDA Court Report magazine as well as other publications. Diane co-hosts HSLDA’s Homeschool Talks Facebook Live chats and co-authored with Carol Becker two eBooks, Develop a Plan for High School and Simplify Your Recordkeeping and Transcript (both available in the HSLDA store). Diane and her husband homeschooled their two children from K-12th grades who are now grown, married, and well into their careers. She enjoys her four energetic grandchildren.
