AFHE is offering two add-on events during the 2016 Convention weekend
Thursday seminars (High School track or Special Needs)
Ladies’ Night Out event Friday evening. Details below.

Thursday Seminars

In addition to our free pre-convention “Considering Homeschooling” mini-conference, we are offering two additional tracks … one for Homeschooling High School and the other on Homeschooling a Child with Special Needs.

Each of these additional tracks is just $10 per person (adult) to attend. If you aren’t able to attend the whole convention, this is a great way to get a little sampling of some of the great workshops that will be presented during the convention by HSLDA High School Consultants and HSLDA Special Needs Consultants. High School Track – $10 per Person
HSLDA High School Consultant, Carol Becker, and graduated homeschool mom and AFHE Convention speaker, Colene Lewis, will present a 3-hour mini-conference to encourage and equip you for homeschooling your teens. We’ll wrap up with a Q&A panel discussion.

Special Needs Track – $10 per Person
HSLDA Special Needs Consultants, Krisa Winn and Joyce Blankenship, will present a 3-hour mini-conference to encourage and equip you for homeschooling a child with special needs. We’ll wrap up with a Special Needs Panel discussion.

Evening of Real Refreshment is a fun and encouraging two-hour women’s only event led by Rachael Carman and the Real Refreshment team, including Zan Tyler and Elizabeth Smith. Rachael and the Real Refreshment team know that moms spend their days pouring into the lives of others, which often leaves them parched and in need of spiritual and practical refreshment. Rachael, Zan, and Elizabeth all understand the unique challenges and needs of a homeschool mom. This special evening is all about pouring back into moms so you are edified and strengthened for the important work of raising and educating your chlidren for the glory of God!

Join us for an evening of fellowship, games, prizes, laughter, relaxation, prayer, and much, much more! Includes beverages and dessert. Warning: Side effects may include outbursts of laughter and giddiness. Extreme feelings of joy and peace have been reported by several participants.
