Convention Registration

Attendance at this pre-convention mini-conference does not include admission to the Arizona Home Education Convention Friday, July 15 and Saturday, July 16, 2016. On-site registration will be open from 4:00-6:00 PM for those who wish to register for the convention Thursday or for those who did pre-register for the convention to pick up your name badges, goody bag (one per family), and convention program, and avoid the check-in lines Friday morning.
NOTE: This mini-conference takes place during exhibitor move-in and set-up so the exhibit hall will not be open for shopping on Thursday. You will need to register for the convention in order to enter the exhibit hall Friday and Saturday.
We do have an exhibit-hall-only pass option on Saturday from 3:30-6:30 PM and will be available for purchase starting at 3:15 PM Saturday.

Parking

Parking is plentiful near the Phoenix Convention Center. Parking downtown costs approximately $10-$15 per day.

OVERSIZED VEHICLE PARKING
Oversized vehicles can be parked in several places:
1) City Garage on 5th street and Washington is very large and almost always has oversize spaces available.
2) Collier Center on Washington and 3rd street. They have just over 8’ clearance.
3) Jefferson Street garage if you enter on 4th street just north of Jefferson Street.
4.) You can park at any open lot like the one on 2nd street and Washington, directly across from Chase Field.

DISCOUNT PARKING AT JEFFERSON STREET GARAGE
The Jefferson Street Garage has generously offered discount parking for AFHE Convention attendees again in 2016 for just $5 Friday and Saturday before noon and Thursday all day. (No in and out privileges.) No coupon or flier needed to get the $5 rate. This discount will be the posted rate Thursday and before noon Friday/Saturday.

Childcare

Childcare is not provided. This pre-convention mini-conference is geared for adults and takes place during exhibitor set-up for the AFHE Home Education Convention. There is no place available for children to play or hang out during the mini-conference sessions. Nursing infants are welcome as always. For your children’s safety and to allow you to glean all that you can from these mini-conference sessions, we encourage you to make childcare arrangements early. If you bring your child with you, he or she must remain with you at all times, and out of courtesy for other attendees, we ask that you step out of the workshop room if your child becomes noisy or a distraction to those around you.
