November 14 – Plants of the Bible Lands Tour The Arboretum is home to several plants found in the Middle East. Using references in ancient texts, guides will describe how people of the Bible Lands used plants as food, medicine, and shelter in ways similar to how native peoples of Southern Arizona continue to do so in modern times.
Homeschooling families are invited to gather and experience education programs at Boyce Thompson Arboretum! Programs are delivered in a one-room schoolhouse/group setting and are suitable for ages 4-18. Pre-registration and non-refundable payment are required in advance. (Hurry– arboretum admission prices are expected to increase next year.)
COST: $2 per homeschooled student (pre-K through high school); $2 per adult (limit two per family; additional adults $15 each)
