HOMESCHOOL DAY – BOYCE THOMPSON ARBORETUM – Wildflower Seeds Workshop

November 13 @ 11:00 am - 1:00 pm

November 13 – Seed Balls with Native Wildflower Seeds Workshop  Learn how indigenous people preserved seeds, and use this ancient technique to make your own wildflower seed ball to take home! Arizona’s native bees and other pollinators need our help saving their habitat, and one way to do that is to gather, save, and plant native wildflower seeds.  Students learn about native bees, citizen science, and native plants.

Programs are delivered in a one-room schoolhouse/group setting and are suitable for ages 4-18. Pre-registration and non-refundable payment are required in advance. (Hurry– arboretum admission prices are expected to increase next year.)
