This year at GCU, our exhibit hall space will be housed in the GCU Arena and the adjacent Practice Facility. Exhibitors are a key part of our convention! We encourage you to plan time to visit both exhibit hall spaces and attend exhibitor workshops, too.  You will find an unmatched array of some of the finest homeschool resources available.

You will enjoy a shopping experience unlike any other in the state of Arizona at the AFHE Convention. Nowhere else will you be able to shop and compare curriculum and resources in person from this many exhibitors and publishers all in one place!

We are grateful for the businesses who come and support the Arizona homeschool community by providing our convention attendees with a wide variety of quality curriculum and resources from which to choose. Many of the exhibitors have a great deal of knowledge and expertise and are happy to answer your questions and assist you. Be sure to stop and chat with them and thank them for investing the time and resources to come the AFHE Convention!

Many of the exhibitors are experts in their field, and we encourage you to take advantage of this wonderful opportunity to ask them questions and learn from them.

When an exhibitor takes the time and effort to explain a product or give beneficial advice, please buy the product from the exhibitor who took the time with you. It is unfair to take advantage of one exhibitor’s time and knowledge and then purchase that product for less from a competitor.

Buying materials from the exhibitor who took the time with you encourages an atmosphere of trust and sharing. It also encourages the return of knowledgeable, well-established exhibitors to our annual convention.

10:00 am – 5:30 pm

We are pleased to offer the opportunity for registered exhibitors to present exhibitor workshops during the convention. Exhibitor workshops can be product demonstrations, introduction to services, or general interest sessions that may benefit your family.

We encourage you to attend exhibitor workshops in addition to the featured speaker workshops hosted by AFHE.

Exhibitor workshops take place the College of Theology building, just across from the GCU Arena. The exhibitor workshops have been synchronized with the featured speaker schedule.

Out of respect for our exhibitors and advertisers who have paid for booth space and advertising and for the enjoyment of our attendees the following activities are not permitted:

  • Distribution of literature, business cards, or materials
  • Business or organization promotion
  • Formal or informal surveys, polls, or canvassing attendees asking them for input
  • Campaigning and signature gathering for petitions

In addition, we do not allow the collection of donations of items like cell phones, eyeglasses, etc. for a ministry or organization.

We strive to create a pleasant and safe shopping experience for our attendees. To this end, children age 12 and under must be accompanied by an adult at all times. Children and teens should conduct themselves politely and responsibly and not be playing or running around in the exhibit hall.

In the GCU Arena, arena seating is corded off for the safety and security of all in attendance; please ensure that your children and teens are observing these boundaries and not entering the corded off sections.

Experienced homeschool moms are available Friday and Saturday during exhibit hall hours to answer your homeschooling questions and to share wisdom and encouragement with you.

The Mentoring Moms booth (Booth A802) is located in the GCU Arena toward the back on the right side.

We are pleased to announce that we will once again provide a book check inside the exhibit hall.  It will be located in the Practice Gym just inside the entrance to the left.

You’ll be able to leave your purchases and strollers for a small fee with our book check team. Claim numbers will be issued to allow you to pick up your items or add to your pile.

Due to the theatre-style seating in all the lecture hall workshop rooms, strollers that are brought into these workshops will be permitted only in a few designated spaces in the FRONT row (room entry is at ground level). You may park your stroller at the book check booth in the Practice Gym for a small daily fee. There is space for strollers in the Antelope Gym, in the exhibitor workshop rooms in the College of Theology building, and in the exhibit halls. We ask that parents with strollers be mindful not to block aisles or create tripping hazards for other attendees.

For your privacy and convenience, a private space will be designated adjacent to the exhibit hall in the GCU Arena. Mothers with infants may sit down, feed their babies, and rest a bit. No men, please.

Electricity is provided for nursing mothers who need to pump. Refrigeration is not available.
